You vs You.

Being your own worst critic, most of us creative types have this mentality, especially if you're an introvert.

It's like no matter what you do, your creations will never be good enough.  Sure you get plenty of compliments, but all you see and hear are the flaws.  All you can see is what you could've done better.  It's maddening!  I can never just sit down and enjoy the final product, if I do, it's only for a day or two before my inner critic starts sqwaking.  I'm actually nervous about people hearing my music because of this.  It takes a lot of energy to push past the fear.  It will never go away.

There is an upside to listening to the inner critic, it keeps you humble.  Having this mindset keeps the ego in check.  There's always room for improvement, never let go of that.

So, are you your own worst critic?
