Life, Music & Superheroes.

Have you ever sat and wondered what type of music your favorite comicbook characters would listen to?

For an example I'll use the most recognized characters of all time, Superman and Batman.

Let's get started!

Superman/Clark Kent:  Growing up in Smallville, Kansas, I see Clark listening to Country Music, 70's Southern Rock (Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers Band etc.), and maybe either The Beatles or Led Zeppelin.  Imagine teenage Clark and Pa Kent fixing on an old truck on a hot Kansas day, while The Allman Brothers', Ramblin' Man, echoes off the barn walls.  He enjoys music, but doesn't consider himself a music buff.  I don't see him listening to any of the current bands that fill the airwaves today.  Clark's music collection is small, but classic.

Batman/Bruce Wayne:  Now Bruce is a tricky one.  I would like to think he enjoys music recreationally, but we know better than that.  He's Batman!  He doesn't have time to enjoy life like normal people would.  If he does listen to music, it would be for a purpose, not for enjoyment.  I'm trying to imagine what tunes Bruce would be playing in his black Aston Martin.  I'm stumped.  No really, I'm drawing a blank here!  I just have this image of being in Wayne Manor and hearing either Dick (Nightwing), Tim (Red Robin) or Damian (Robin) blasting rock music out of their rooms while Bruce occupies the Bat Cave.  Hey, that's what happens when you dedicate your life to a single unending purpose.

So, tell me what type of music your favorite fictional characters would listen to. (it's not just limited to comicbooks either)
